Mrs. Ann Bringle Cornatzer

CORNATZER
ADVANCE - Mrs. Ann Bringle Cornatzer, 75, of Baltimore Road, passed from this life unto life everlasting Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born October 26, 1934, in Rowan County to the late Lester and Beulah Beatrice Pierce Bringle. Mrs. Cornatzer was a member of Bixby Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being a part of the Women of the Church. She had been employed with Moxville Manufacturing and was retired from VF Jeanswear (Lee Jeans). She was a graduate of Woodleaf High School, enjoyed watching golf and was an avid Braves and Yankees fan. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach and loved the lighthouses. Mrs. Cornatzer was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Terry Cornatzer. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James Tom Cornatzer of the home; a son, Jerry Cornatzer of Mocksville; two grandchildren, David Cornatzer (Christy) and Meredith Perez (Gamaliel); three great-grandchildren, Noah and Kayden Cornatzer and Lily Perez; a sister, Patti Fink of Salisbury; two brothers, J.K. Bringle (Helen) of Woodleaf and Elwood Bringle (Peggy) of Salisbury; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Cornatzer of Mocksville; a special cousin, Pat Chaffin of Woodleaf; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, at Bixby Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Peter Peterson and the Rev. Eddie Driver officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, July 26, at Eaton Funeral Home in Mocksville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for Bixby Presbyterian Women of the Church or to Bixby Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 2227 Advance, NC 27006.
