Mrs. Gracie Bell MartinGracie Martin, 79 passed away and went home to be with Jesus Monday morning July 26th at her home.A 2:00 PM Funeral service will be held Wednesday July 28th at the Ray Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Martin-Joyce Family Cemetery in Stoneville. A Rockingham County native, Gracie was born September 1, 1930 the daughter of the late Bryant McKiver Martin and the late Lillie Mae Joyce Martin. Gracie was of the Baptist faith and attended Glenn’s Chapel Church. She retired from Neet Feet Hosiery. In all she worked over 45 years in the Hosiery and Textile Industries. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Troy Lee Martin and Sister Sadie Marie Martin. Gracie is survived by 3 children, Brenda K. Dunlap of Mayodan, Judy May Martin of Stoneville and Jimmy Lee Martin of Stoneville; 1 brother, Robert Martin of Ashland, KY; 3 sisters, Lucille Potter of Yanceyville, Lucy Snow of Greensboro and Faye DeMoss of Stoneville; 5 grandchildren, Timothy James Dunlap, Tony Douglas Dunlap, Tonya Gail Roberts, Benjamin Lee Martin and Christopher Howard Martin; 8 great grandchildren, Matthew Dunlap, Crystal Dunlap, LaShauna Shivley, Lucas Shivley, Landon Shivley, Hunter Dunlap Martin, Summer McKenzie Martin and Hannah Grace Martin; 2 great great-grandchildren, Lagan Brook and Emma Grace Dunlap, and many nieces and nephews.
